Does school prepare us for life?

While school teaches us a lot of things that are important in adult life, it also skips a couple crucial elements. In school, we learn to be punctual and to meet deadlines as well as some important knowledge. What it fails to teach us, on the other hand, is things like creativity and forming meaningful relationships. Even though at school we often have to work with others, we never learn what to do to make sure those relationships last. While school gives us lots of facts and knowlegde to memorise, it often skips on the most significant parts of being an adult.
